Seattle Giveaway! The Pink Carpet Project: Seattle Stands w/Planned Parenthood on Inauguration Day
Here’s a fun way to give back to Planned Parenthood and celebrate our beautiful community here in Seattle on Inauguration Day!
Sponsored by Seattle Magazine and The Stranger, The Pink Carpet Project: Seattle Stands with Planned Parenthood is back for its third installment.
This Inauguration Day, Pink Carpet Project will host an eclectic women’s event to celebrate diversity, togetherness, feminine power, and our progressive community while raising funds and awareness for Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest.
The evening will include music, bites, cocktails, art, and community! Performance by the inimitable burlesque artist J Von Stratton and samba by Tudo Beleza, inspirational words from our keynotes, Amelia Bonow from #ShoutYourAbortion, and House Representative, Noel Frame, music by DJ Lady Coco, delicious appetizers from Madres Kitchen, cocktails by The Rhino Room, and booth installations of art, fashion, and conversation curated by BadWill Market, featuring various woman-owned businesses and interactive artists.
There will also be a silent auction where participating vendors will create and donate a one of a kind piece towards the cause. Proceeds raised through ticket sales and silent auction and a percentage of the bar profits to Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest.
I’ve got two tickets to give away for The Pink Carpet Project! Want them? Just leave a comment below, on my Facebook page post, or my Instagram telling me who your favorite feminist or female hero is. I’ll draw a winner on Thursday, January 19th at 5:00 p.m. Pacific time. All entrants must be able to attend this event in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood on Friday night, January 20th.
Good luck!
