Gold Serum, Red Lip Whip, & Korean Beauty: March 2017 Beauty Favorites
I have always said that I am completely illiterate when it comes to knowing anything about makeup and beauty. I suppose that’s not true anymore, and I may even love it a little now. I still can’t draw on my eyeliner to save my life though.
Anyway, here are some of my favorite products as of late:
I think serum the most important part of a daily skincare routine, and I’ve become a bit of a hoarder. The one in heavy rotation now is Michael Lorin Reed, M.D. (MLR)’s Gold Serum. Dr. Reed is a renowned New York City dermatologist, and his daughter a beauty entrepreneur devoted to sustainably sourced, natural, non-toxic products. The MLR Gold Serum is packed with antioxidant-rich essential oils, anti-inflammatory "superfood" botanicals & clinically-proven ingredients to nourish & restore your body’s natural beauty.
I love a red lip, but I hate wearing lipstick every day. It was hard to find a lip balm that also leaves a good red hue - until now. Kari Gran’s Suji Lip Whip, named after co-founder Lisa’s youngest daughter, has all the organic ingredients I’ve come to know and love from Kari Gran’s entire line but has the color that rivals all of my favorite red lipsticks. I highly recommend it to add a little fire to your everyday look!
Um, have you been to the K-Beauty Pop-In that’s currently at Nordstrom Downtown Seattle? It’s there until March 26th and stocked with some of the very best in Korean skincare, makeup, and nail products. They recently hosted some of the faces behind the product lines, and it was an honor to meet them. I went home with these products and have been loving the masks, face mist, and lip stuff so far.
