A Look Inside RH Seattle, The Gallery at University Village
My favorite mall in the city has just added a very swanky upgrade to its mix. Just in time for the holiday shopping rush, Restoration Hardware has moved two 'doors' down into its massive, opulent new space.
RH Seattle, The Gallery at University Village is an innovative new retail experience that blurs the lines between residential and retail, indoors and outdoors, physical and digital. Commanding four levels and more than 60,000 total interior and exterior square feet, the next-generation design gallery features artistic installations of home furnishings in a gallery setting.
There's an entire floor dedicated to RH Modern with an integrated RH Contemporary Art Gallery, and an interactive Design Atelier, a professional workspace that allows customers, designers and architects to conceptualize and customize a home.
RH Seattle marks RH Chairman & CEO Gary Friedman’s ongoing collaboration with James Gillam of Backen, Gillam & Kroeger, a firm recognized as one of Architectural Digest’s Top 100 architect and design firms in the world.
Conceptualized as a grand-scale, classical contemporary structure filled with fresh air and natural light, architectural and design details include a lush garden terrace and decomposed granite courtyards, a grand double floating staircase with a massive skylight and spectacular installation of 22 Helix crystal chandeliers suspended 60 feet overhead – all culminating in a Rooftop Park & Conservatory with mature white crepe myrtle trees and a display of the latest RH Outdoor collections.
Other highlights include a Ben Soleimani Rug Showroom as well as specialized galleries for window treatments, bed, and bath linens, and bath hardware.
Quite the upgrade! Shop at RH Seattle, The Gallery at University Village at 4645 26th Avenue N.E., Seattle, WA 98105 or online.
