Fresh Faced: Wedding Guest Makeup with BeYu at Bartell Drugs

Did you know? Bartell Drugs puts on a fall and spring Beauty Event every year! There are makeup demonstrations and tutorials, swag bags, and of course, amazing deals on some of your favorite drugstore cosmetics. I've had the pleasure of being part of the last few beauty events and wanted to share a few photos from my makeup demo in the fall.

Vanita Sloan was my lovely makeup artist at the University Village Bartell Drugs location, and we focused our limited time (demos are available in 15-minute increments - and they book fast!) on two product lines: NYX and BeYu.

NYX is in my daily rotation already thanks to a previous Bartell beauty event, so I was excited to try out BeYu for the first time. BeYu is a German cosmetics brand that launched in the U.S. market just last year. The BeYu collection is inspired by special moods, impulses, and trends from popular cities around the world.

The line stands for first class, skin-compatible ingredients, best textures, and continuous optimization. BeYu products are made according to the strict regulations of the European Cosmetic Regulation. All products are cruelty-free, and many products are paraben-free and/or fragrance-free.

Vanita worked some serious magic in 15 minutes, turning me from a "fresh out the shower" to "ready to emcee my aunt's wedding" look in record time. Probably my favorite new product was BeYu's Velvet Mat foundation, which felt like a dream (read: super light and not cloggy on the pores.)
