Flatstock 56: Poster Show Returns To Bumbershoot

Bumbershoot isn't just about the music. The team has worked hard to bring in comedic acts, artists, and yogis to make for a jam-packed weekend of entertainment!

One of my favorite parts about the festival has been Flatstock, which is a curated poster show that features the world's best show poster artists. Now in its 56th year!

Presented by the American Poster Institute (API), Bumbershoot and KEXP 90.3, Flatstock will display posters of varying styles, colors and techniques for sale by the talented artists who created them.

“The best concert posters have always captured both the essence of the music they promoted and the spirit of the time in which they were produced,” Said Eric Carnell, Director at Independence Printage Corp. “Flatstock provides an ongoing series of opportunities to see fine poster art in person and to meet the artists who created it.”

Prior to Bumbershoot, KEXP will be hosting Flatstock 56 preview featuring 30+ posters for the show.
