Reimagining WiFi Routers with Starry Station

There's a lot to be said for a good design aesthetic. It's one of the reasons we're drawn to a car or a piece of clothing over another. It's one of the reasons why fans of Apple and Nike have such a strong loyalty. It's why I'll agonize over which journaling app to choose and finally go with the one I think looks the best (but that's another post.)

Why can't our routers be nicely designed too?

I've had the chance to try out the Starry Station this summer, and it's been a wonderful addition to our home. Everything from the packaging to setup was simple, streamlined and beautiful!

Setup was as easy as 1-2-3, and since then, I've been able to check everything I need to know about my wi-fi through the touchscreen right on the router. The screen always displays signal strength percentage (its Health Score), and I also love that I can monitor security access, check or change my password details, see the overall health of my wifi connection, go into sleep mode and even set controls over when we can access the internet. Perfect for families and those who can't trust themselves to tweet after a night out! 

For someone whose professional life relies heavily on my wi-fi connection, the Starry Station has been crucial in showing me all that I need to know - and helping me when I need to force myself to take a digital break!
